CARL'S NOTES

  
   This version of the traditional hall tree and storage bench is enhanced by a stunning contrast in wood types and colors.  The dark grain of the Wenge wood plays off smartly against the lighter intricate patterns of the lighter Bird’s Eye Maple.  The bench top is hinged and opens to give access to the storage area below.  Check the box at the right for more specific information including the dimensions and some options contained in the “Carl’s Notes” section.

  

"This is my variation of the classic arts and crafts hall tree and bench.
I found that the contrasting wood types  really set the piece off.  The piece is both functional and very attractive and will act as a beautiful centerpiece to any entryway. This piece can be made with any combination of woods , and the hardware is the owners choice."
